From ESP32 to Grafana: Build Your First IoT Monitoring System

Send temperature and humidity readings through MQTT, store them, and create a working Grafana dashboard.

Build a complete monitoring pipeline

ESP32 → MQTT → Node-RED → InfluxDB → Grafana

  • Two live online sessions, three hours each; maximum 10 participants.
  • Session 1: temperature/humidity acquisition, MQTT publishing, and data storage.
  • Session 2: Grafana dashboards and diagnosing an interrupted data stream.
  • Code, configurations, sample data, a practical guide, and seven days of support through one shared question thread.
  • A simulated sensor publisher is available as a hardware fallback.

Who should attend and prepare?

Lecturers, laboratory technicians, and beginners with basic programming knowledge. Bring a laptop able to run the listed tools and complete the installation guide and readiness check before the first session. The hardware checklist is supplied before registration is finalized; participants may use simulated readings.
